Hello Families of 2A!
As of June 9th we are 171 days into the school year!
What are we doing in class?
Math: We had great success in triple digit adding and subtracting! We will finish up the year with a look into multiplication.
English: We are almost done with our grammar/mechanics unit. This will finish up our English books for the year!
Reading: We are continuing with unit 4. We are reading great stories about sports, celebrations and food.
Science: We will finish our year up with more science! We will take a look at the human body. We will learn how our organs work together and what we can do to keep ourselves healthy and strong.
What’s coming up?
Saturday June 12th: Pancakes at Applebees.. hope to see you there!
Wednesday June 16th: Schools out cookout
Friday June 18th: 6th grade graduation
Tuesday June 22nd: Last day of school! End of the year prayer service
We have been blessed with another wonderful school year! I will miss you all over the summer xo
