It’s hard to believe that 2nd Quarter is almost over! We’ve been very busy.
In Math, we finished up our unit on fractions and we’re now moving onto Measurement. We’ve also finished up our unit on Adverbs in English as well as begin How-To Articles and the students studied very hard for a Cumulative Review in Vocabulary. In addition, we’re finishing up our review unit on the United States and the 6th grade has started their Country Project.
Even with all the work we do, we were able to work with our Kindergarten Church Buddies on the Advent Prayer Service before vacation. All the students worked VERY hard. We’re looking forward to assisting them with their first Stations of the Cross. It has also been nice to meet with our Third grade Buddies for some winter crafts.
6A is also very excited to be hosting the Math-A-Thon this year. This is a wonderful fundraising project for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
